The Auction season begins

Despite the economic doom and gloom, a series of fine art auctions in South Africa and abroad, suggest a continued growth in this niche. Throughout 2011, South African Auction houses held fine art, antiques and collectables auctions reaping positive rewards, contributing to a robust art market in South Africa.  Records were set locally and in London for the South African masters and for the collectors.
